Who Are We?

PRinHR is built on relationships. We like to think ours are extremely good ones, whether we're working with HR people, providers to the market, journalists or social media experts.

It s run by me, Kay Phelps, with support from some exceptionally fine people.

We've handled PR for HR since 1995. Most of our business comes from referrals or past clients who've moved on to new companies and come back. Some of you know of us as The PR Department – we've created a separate brand to express clearly what we do.

We've worked with specialists in HR, payroll and flexible benefit software, training and e-learning, employee benefits, workplace psychologists, diversity, recruitment, employee feedback, redundancy support, as well as the global HR and CR director of a FTSE company. It's because of these that we understand HR so well.

Because of our work with great customers and interesting stories, we are aligned with some of the most influential journalists and publications in the UK, delivering on ideas and promises – and continually building trusted relationships.

To us, PR isn't about scarily big budgets or complex processes. It's about understanding challenges and delivering a well-thought out strategy of highly practical and workable communications internally or externally (in printed, online or social media) to get results.

We're also big on understanding some human fundamentals – good values, mutual respect, skill and knowledge, innovative thinking, determination and let's face it, a bit of a laugh whenever possible.
